The IRRV Benefits Conference and Exhibition is widely regarded as the primary event for practitioners involved in the delivery of housing benefit and council tax benefit, regularly attracting over 350 delegates.
The conference will address the major issues facing local government concerning the implementation of universal credit and support for council tax. The conference will host a series of workshops for the DWP and DCLG on “Modelling for Support for Council Tax” and the introduction of the “Single Fraud Investigation Service”.
There will also be a workshop for Chief Executives and Finance Executives on the wider policy implication of Welfare and Council Tax Reform. This workshop will be run in partnership with the District Council Network and the LGA.
